Overview

Dialogic®'s JCT Media Board range offers an extremely versatile platform which can be used in conjunction with JCT APIs for easy implementation into a variety of communication infrastructures. Suitable for a wide array of applications, the JCT media boards are available to purchase in the following formats:

JCT Combined Media Boards

Dialogic®'s JCT Combined Media Boards offer 24 - 30 port PCI express or 4 - 12 port analogue options ready to be interfaced with digital networks and multimedia resources. Offering support for voice, fax and software-based speech recognition processing, ideal for small to medium enterprises.

PBX Integration Boards

The JCT PBX Integration Boards offer advanced digital connectivity to many popular private branch exchanges (PBXs) for unified and internet-ready call, voice and fax processing apps in small to medium-sized enterprises.

With programmable soft ports capable of supporting voice, fax, call-handling and host-based speech technologies, the PBX Integration Boards reduce the total cost of ownership for systems requiring multimedia functionality. The universal PBX interface offers downloadable firmware for a selection of widely used telephony switches along with support for advanced PBX features such as called and calling number identification, message waiting notification and Interactive Voice Response (IVR).

Station Interface Boards

The Dialogic DIS132 Switching Board is a next generation building block for converged communication systems. As a single-slot PCI solution, this product connects analogue telephone devices directly to converged comms platforms to create affordable small to mid-size server-based PBXs, telemarketing systems and call centres.

JCT Combined Media Boards Features

  • Supports DSP-based onboard fax amd host-based speech recognition (fax and host-based speech recognition are mutually exclusive)
  • 24 or 30 independent voice channels in a single PCI Express H.100 slot
  • 48 to 60 independent voice channels and 24 to 48 T1 network channels in a single PCI Express slot
  • 30 to 60 E1 network channels in a single PCI Express slot
  • Supports G.726 bit exact and GSM coders
  • Silence-compressed recording
  • Unified call control access through Dialogic® Global Call Software interface
  • Available with PCI Express edge connector
  • Provides worldwide application portability and shortens development time by using the same API for almost any network protocol
  • Lower costs while creating larger high-density systems with fewer boards per chassis
  • Eliminated silence and preserves hard disk space
  • Maximises the number of boards in the system
  • Enables implementation of unified messaging applications that meet VPIM standards
  • PCI Express form factor compatible with x1 slot (x1 or higher compatible)

PBX Integration Boards Features

  • Onboard CPU with large RAM and powerful FPGA chip for fast data streaming between the host CPU, the DSPs, the phone line and other active components
  • One powerful DSP dedicated to each communications channel
  • Sophisticated hardware design
  • Conforms to plug & play standards
  • Implements most supplementary services and many different analogue signaling protocols
  • Pulse and tone dialling
  • Voice packetisation into Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP), adaptive jitter buffer, voice compression and Comfort Noise Generation (varies on board-type)
  • Supports the same programming interfaces as other Dialogic® Diva® Media Boards: CAPI, Dialogic® Diva® APIs and others
  • Up to eight Diva Media Boards of the same or different types can operate concurrently in a single server
