Overview

The Algo 8373 IP Zone Paging Adapter offers an effective solution for integrating traditional analogue PA systems into modern VoIP environments. Designed to bridge the gap between IP-based communication platforms and legacy audio infrastructure, the 8373 provides a dry contact page output to traditional zoned amplifiers. This enables users to continue using their existing analogue paging equipment while benefiting from the flexibility and scalability of SIP-based IP communications.

The 8373 supports three-channel relays, which can be configured for multiple subzones. Removing the need for a legacy zone controller to extend the functionality of an existing single-zone system. For larger or more complex installations, multicast support allows further expansion beyond the built-in three zones. A contact closure is also available, enabling integration with door release systems, emergency triggers, or other facility control devices.

Fully compliant as a 3rd party SIP endpoint, the 8373 is compatible with most hosted, cloud-based, and on-premise VoIP telephone systems. Powered via PoE for easy deployment, it provides a cost-effective way to modernise paging systems without needing a full infrastructure overhaul.
